The MDZ Shield is an affordable two-piece BASF polyurethane guard that encloses the upper wheel well opening and covers the gap in front of the right rear wheels.

The MDZ Shield includes a wheel shield that is roughly 1/4" thick and a lower tire safety guard that sits approximately four inches from the ground, permitting flexibility on impact. The wheel shield covers the right wheel well opening, and the cantilevered receiver bolts directly to the undercarriage under the bus. The tire safety guard, attached to the receiver, is designed with a radius curve under the body of the bus.
