Built-In Child Restraint Seat
All LE seats are available as mid-back or high-back, recliner or non-recliner, with any listed options, and in a wide choice of upholstery. The seats shown are representative examples.
All LE seats are available with The C.E. White Co.'s® widely acclaimed integrated Child Restraint Seat for children 10-60 lb. and can hold a rear-facing infant seat for children under 20 lb.
The Child Restraint Seat flips open from the back to reveal the five-point lap and shoulder harness belt. The Automatic Belt Tension adjustment is quick and easy for an adult to operate. Holds the child securely and comfortably.
Cushions and backs are contoured for comfort with highly resilient FR cellular polyurethane foam. Certified to meet all federal and state standards.
Available on mid-back and high-back seats. Double seat can be ordered with one or two child restraint inserts. Proven in transit and school bus use since 1994.
Contour molded polyurethane seat cushions (17.5" wide) and FR polyurethane backs give comfort and reduce seat and leg fatigue. Also available in 16" (LE-16) single and 33" (LE-33) double sizes for vans.

Distinctive Features of the LE Series Line
FRAME: Fixture welded, 16 and 18 gauge, high carbon steel tubing and high carbon steel angles.
RECLINER MECHANISM: Heavy-duty, long-life, spring-loaded lock with quick release. Moves smoothly, effortlessly to full range of positions from 0° to 35°.
CUSHIONS: Contour-molded polyurethane for firm, yet comfortable ride. Designed to eliminate seat and leg fatigue. Low density "Neoprene" foam with high indentation load deflection is also available.
LEGS AND MOUNTINGS: Die-formed, high carbon wall mount and bolt-on adjustable, scratch resistant, e-coated, inverted "T" pedestal mounts are standard.
UPHOLSTERY: Wide variety of nylon, vinyl and nylon/wool blends in a wide assortment of colors.
SEAT BELTS: All seats are certified to be seat-belt-ready.
TESTING: All of The C.E. White Co.® seats are subjected to a complete series of tests in our own testing facilities and are certified to meet or exceed all applicable federal and state safety standards. Test results are available upon request.
Cushioning materials meet or exceed FMVSS 302. These materials can also be formulated to meet other federal and municipal requirements. Seats can be made to comply with FMVSS 213 and 225.
Upholstery fabrics comply with FMVSS 302 and California BLT117. Vinyls meet FMVSS 302, Federal Specification CCC-A-680A and FAA (FAR 25.853, Paragraph B). These seats are also certified to meet FMVSS 210 for seat belt installation.
